It begins with the siege of the Mien villages in Jinxiadong, a valley hidden deep within the mountains. The Mien people had come under relentless attack, most likely by the Qin. As their leaders prepared to flee, they took a single horn and cut it into twelve pieces-one for each leader. Their hope was simple but profound: that one day, the scattered fragments would be reunited, and with them, the twelve clans of the Mien would once again come together as one. - Cayle
